這一年冬天，東清的命運起了變化，首先是三個月前 　　他出了車禍，掌上的掌紋被去掉了一大半，護士告訴 　　他從此他的命運不再有限制…三個月後他父親中風住 　　院，他卻因此被限制在當舖裡，沒多久他認識了在醫 　　院遇到的護士，她叫EIKO，她試著要找回東清的掌 　　紋，東清心底不想這樣…開始勾搭上來當舖的女客人 　　，他為她取了綽號叫曉得了。 　　故事從主角東清（李俊桀）在父親的當鋪裡，專門對 　　來典當者惡作劇開始。之後陸續鋪陳的劇情，是描繪 　　都市男女的生活另類相貌；一如其配樂，是一場風格 　　化、簡單、幽默的遊戲！ 　　電影中的場景 (捷運) ，以及電影中人物所關心的話題 　　（星座、不景氣等），都是生活在都會中的人所熟悉 　　的，相信觀眾看了應該都會會心一笑的。 Lin has to look after his father's small pawnshop, while his father is hospitalized. His impish girlfriend Eiko, whom he met on the internet, comes to help him, when she is not working at the hospital. She calls Lin by his online pseudonym "No-lines" because he lost the lifeline on his hand in a motorcycle accident. Instead of checking IDs, Eiko suggests they take customers palm prints, so she can practice her palm-reading. Lin is attracted to a girl who comes to collect her pawned watch, and he arranges to meet her at the station, without Eiko knowing.
