Inspired by a correspondence between Albert Einstein and Sigmund Freud, almost a century ago, WHY WAR is a fiction about war, or rather a fable with several characters in search of meaning in a visual poem. Albert Einstein was invited by the League of Nations to write a letter on any topic to any individual of his choice. He decided to correspond with Sigmund Freud on the subject of avoiding war. In his letter, Einstein emphasized the importance of establishing an independent judicial body to mediate conflicts. Freud agreed but expressed skepticism, noting that \"it is unlikely we will be able to suppress humanity's aggressive tendencies\". Even today, this exchange between two of history's greatest minds remains as relevant as ever.
