松子是一名乡村女教师，思想非常先进的她发起了青年民主共同农业经营运动，成为了组织者，和松子一起奋斗的，还有英助、志野和源治等人。源治一直痴痴的爱慕着松子，无法自拔。最终，因为源治的背叛，运动以失败告终，源治妄图向松子求婚，也遭到了对方的拒绝和唾弃，绝望之中，源治选择了自杀。 　　源治的死大大撼动了松子的心灵，在松子最脆弱的时候，英助趁虚而入捕获了她的芳心，两人结为夫妻。但实际上，英助是一个贪婪而又好色的男人，他故技重施强暴了一心寻死的志野。志野对警方隐瞒了这一切，却将真相告诉了松子，松子的人生崩塌了。 Hakuchu no Torima" is the portrayal of a violent rapist as seen through the recollections of his wife and one of his victims. As the film starts, Eisuke (Kei Sato) encounters Shino (Saeda Kawaguchi), who works as a maid in a house. She is a former coworker from a failed collective farm, whose life he once saved -- only to rape her. Soon, Eisuke's criminal pattern of rapes and murders emerges as he goes on assaulting women (Shino being the witness of one of them, as Eisuke tries to violate her employer). When cooperating with the police on making a description of the rapist, Shino withholds her crucial knowledge of his identity.
